Every year in the U.S., there's an international award, namely WorldStar. It is organized by the world packaging organization to demonstrate packaging arts and packaging excellence. In 2003, TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC CO., LTD. (TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC) received a WorldStar award by designing a new method to seal the bottle for 1st user protection. The design of plastic bottle gives a fresh look to the customers and its creative and functional design attracted orders from large body and hair care companies including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, etc. After years of cooperation, TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC also obtained Best Supplier award from Johnson & Johnson and Excellent Supplier from Unilever. Today, TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC is the largest plastic packaging pump and bottle provider in Asia, supplying body and hair care plastic bottle and pump packaging solutions to world leading companies.

The WorldStar was given to praise the innovative design of plastic bottle. A plastic bottle that is used for body-care products that has a strip attached between the cap and body. Its easy to open method allows users to turn and open but at the same time to secure the product before it’s purchased. Before the design came along, plastic film was used for packaging method to prevent pre-purchase usage at the store. However, there are disadvantages to it - cost of labor is higher; low cost appearance; wrinkled look and feel; and film can be ripped easily. And once it's damaged, no one will buy it.

The packaging solution designed by TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC doesn't require user education, it prevents counterfeit products, and the design of jar or bottle remained the same.

"A significant change is that there's no risk of finding counterfeit shampoo or lotion consumer products when using our bottles and jars for packaging solutions" says Franklin Ding, Executive Vice President of TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC. "And if the client switches to other plastic packaging methods, you start seeing fake ones in the market" he says.

Johnson & Johnson and Unilever are both using this plastic bottle packaging method for their body, face and hair care products, including Dove body wash and face care lotion products, Palmolive shampoo bottles, NIVEA Bath Care, Johnson & Johnson shower gel, etc.

To fabricate awarded PP (Polypropylene) bottle, TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC imported U.S. ultrasonic welding equipment to ensure the accuracy of three connecting points. The expensive welding equipment and high standard manufacturing procedure has permitted TAIXING K.K. PLASTIC to exclusively become the only supplier in China.

The second generation design has an advantage of effectively preventing the risk for the children from eating by mistake because the length of the peeled tearing section is long enough
